The Golden State Warriors forward Anthony Randolph will not be available to play with the team for at least two months. After undergoing an MRI exam Monday on his injured left ankle, Randolph was told that there is a tear of two outside ligaments in the ankle and a sprain in another ligament. Thus he will be wearing a walking boot to protect the ankle for three weeks before being re-evaluated.
Randolph left Friday night’s 108-101 home victory over Kings jersey late in the first quarter with the injury. He collapsed to the floor after a guard wearing NO. 13 Kings jersey missed a driving layup at the buzzer and lay on the ground for several moments before teammates helped him off the court.
The second-year pro averaged 11.6 points and a team-leading 6.5 rebounds in 22.7 minutes per game this season. And he had been making positive strides and was given more responsibility recently. However, the injury is more than a bit of setback for him. During his absence, the Warriors will give Ronny Turiaf, Vladimir Radmanovic and Devean George more playing time.

Celtics won eighth straight game by beating Bucks 98-89
The Boston Celtics continue to have fans in Kevin Garnett jersey or Paul Pierce jersey cheer for the team’s win, and the eighth straight win came on Tuesday night after the game against the Milwaukee Bucks ended with Celtics’ 98-89 victory over the Bucks.
Garnett scored 25 to go with nine rebounds, Pierce scored 15 points, point guard Rajon Rondo contributed 11 points by having 13 assists and nine rebounds, and reserve Rasheed Wallace added 13 points, hitting a pair of 3-pointers in the fourth quarter, and the Celtics broke an 86-all tie by scoring 12 of the game’s final 15 points.
On the Bucks side, Andrew Bogut had 25 points and 14 rebounds, and Ersan Ilysova scored 19 and pulled down eight rebounds as the team lost their fourth game in a row and eighth in last nine games.

Celtics have their 6th straight win by beating Spurs 90-83
On Thursday night, a lot of fans witness the player wearing No.5 Kevin Garnett jersey scoring 20 points and leading the Boston Celtics to a 90-83 win over the San Antonio Spurs, the Celtics’ sixth straight win since Nov. 20. And the team is looking forward a seventh consecutive win by beating the Oklahoma City Thunder Friday night.
The Celtics sixth win also ended the Spurs’ five wins streak which began from the win over the Washington Wizards on Nov. 21. Spurs Coach Gregg Popovich acknowledged that playing against the Celtics was a bit of a litmus test. Not like most teams the Spurs has beaten this season, the Celtics had a 6-0 start for this season and kept winning straight games.
Thus the Celtics made another six winning streak, with only the Los Angeles Lakers winning a longer streak of seven straight games. The team is now also has the NBA-best 8-1 away record, and will likely improve to 9-1 after Friday’s game against the Thunder.
