The Tennessee Titans do not want to close the door to linebacker Keith Bulluck but continue the communication with him for possible returning, although the 10-year veteran is still recovering from ACL surgery.
“I have spoken to them and we are going to continue to talk throughout free agency. We are going to keep an open line of communication throughout the free agency process,” Bulluck’s agent, Gary Wichard, told the newspaper. “We will figure this out when it is time to figure it out, the way most deals work. They are interested in keeping them and we’ll see the end result.”
Before tearing the ACL in his left knee on Dec. 20, 2009, Bulluck had played 127 consecutive games since putting on Titans jersey as a first-round and 30th overall pick of 2000 draft. he has been the team’s leader in tackles for six of the past eight seasons.

Titans’ owner Adams was reported to prefer Young to start
According to the Tennessean, the owner of the Tennessee Titans, Bud Adams informed Coach Jeff Fisher that he preferred Vince Young to Kerry Collins for the starting quarterback in Titans jersey.
The reports said that Adams apparently told Fisher his preference after the Titans lost to New England 59-0 on Oct. 18. But later when reporters called to Adams’ Houston office, they were referred to the team’s media relations department in Nashville. They left a messaged but did not get reply Tuesday.
The reports came out one day after Fisher declined to say who his starter would be this Sunday. As he had stuck with Collins throughout the 0-6 start, saying that Collins could give the team best chance to win. But as one of three remaining winless teams in the league along with the St. Louis Rams and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Titans are expected to change something. It just happened that the starting quarterback became the focus of the controversy.

59-0: Patriots’ historic win, Titans’ historic loss
The snowy Sunday is a New England Patriots day. Their historic 59-0 victory over the Tennessee Titans was the Titans’ worst game since they began playing in 1960 as the Houston Oilers, even worse than the 61-7 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals in 1989.
Patriots quarterback Tom Brady had five TD passes in the second quarter, a record for one period and the six touchdown throws tied Brady’s own Patriots record. And the 59-point margin matched the largest since the NFL-AFL merger in 1970- the Los Angeles Rams’ 59-0 win over the Atlanta Falcons in 1976.
Winning their first 10 games last season, the Titans have yet to win their first game this season, and the 59-0 loss to the Patriots just recorded a new low in their winless season. The only bright spot for them was running back Chris Johnson wearing Titans jersey, who has been the NFL’s third leading rusher and run for 128 of the Titans’ total of 186 overall.

NFL fined Titans DE Vanden Bosch for hittig Colts QB Manning
On Thursday, the Tennessee Titans defensive end Kyle Vanden Bosch was informed by the NFL that he will have to pay a fine of $5,000 for hit on Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning.
But it seemed Vanden Bosch and the Titans would like to refuse to accept the punishment. As to what happened in Sunday's 31-9 loss to the Colts, Titans Coach Jeff Fisher, co-chairman of the competition committee said earlier this week that rule states roughing the passer should not be called if a player is blocked into a quarterback.
And the defensive end said Thursday that he knows what the rule is on hot hitting quarterback arround the knees. But the actual situation was that he was blocked and was going down during Sunday night's, therefore he had to grab Manning's legs to keep balance, indicating that it is not fair to fine him for what he did to the quarterback wearing opponent team's NFL jersey.

Titans WR Britt will be activated from PUP list
Kenny Britt, the Titans’ first round pick, will be activated from the physically-unable-to-perform list by Friday. However, his current health condition will still not allow him to play in the Hall of Fame game on Sunday night.
Britt hurt his right hamstring in May. The injury was aggravated in June and thus limited his exercise before training camp. The condition of the 30th pick overall has improved a lot and Britt has been able to handling the work physically, according to coach Jeff Fisher. Fisher also said that Brill would be ready to play when it comes to Titans’ second preseason game against Tampa Bay on Aug. 15.
